New Book published in Great Britain:
RSPB British Birds of Prey

I am the photographer in the new Book, released november 22., 2010.

The Publisher: A&C Black publish some fantastic books with the RSPB, Europe's largest wildlife conservation organisation. Sales of these titles help to fund their work.

For every species there will be some few photos, mostly from nest, from others photographers.

Of course I am proud of having success in the English market, being almost the sole provider of pictures for such a book. I also find the text, written by Marianne Taylor, very interesting. There is a lot of information in the book, which is useful for every one who is fascinated of these wonderful birds.

Feel free to read some pages from the book here:

White-tailed Eagle

Short-eared Owl

First review:

"In my view, this is THE definitive book of British raptors. It begins with an insight of the raptor population over the last few centuries, in particular, persecution, and goes on to describe the reintroduction of the different species. Then there is an incredibly detailed account of every resident raptor in the British Isles, depicted throughout by absolutely stunning photographs by acclaimed wildlife photographer Stig Frode Olsen. If you are into British raptors, BUY THIS BOOK! It's the only one you'll ever need. Stunning."
